About Marquette Frame & Wheel Alignment

Marquette Frame & Wheel Alignment is a wheel alignment service in Chicago, Illinois. It is listed at 2348 W 59th St, Chicago, IL 60636, which places it among the local businesses of Chicago that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as tire shop, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Brake, transmission, exhaust and glass work is often done by specialty shops that see the same job dozens of times a week. Brake shops replace pads and rotors the same day and usually inspect for free; transmission shops rebuild or replace automatics and clutches, a multi-day job that deserves a second quote; muffler and exhaust shops weld custom pipes and replace catalytic converters, which in many states must meet emissions rules. Alignment and suspension shops fix pulling, uneven tire wear and worn shocks, and radiator shops handle overheating and cooling-system leaks. Auto glass shops replace windshields, often at your home or office, and recalibrate the driver-assistance cameras mounted behind the glass. Window tinting and car audio shops round out the group.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–5 pm. It is closed on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Would not recommend Marquette Frame & Wheel Alignment. I was there since 8AM just sitting and waiting while they kept pulling other cars in before mine. The wait time was ridiculous and communication was bad the whole time. Felt like my time didn’t matter at all. Very unprofessional experience and disappointing customer service. DONT EVER GO HERE

I called in to this place yesterday the lady answered the phone e told her my issue I was having with my car and she told me a ball park figure of $240. I come in the next I do a test run with the mechanic he tells me about a1hr -2 max for the job.So i go back to the waiting area and the lady I spoke with the previous day finally gets to work and calls me up for my pricing for The parts and services and it’s $481. I told her this was far greater than what she had priced me the day before which was $240. She told me that well yeah I just give a ballpark figure and I told her this was an out of the Park figure. This was a home run. This was Mark Maguire. So I agreed to the services, but something just didn’t sit right with me. I went back and asked for the paperwork while everybody was up up there, laughing and being jovial I noticed that she was charging me for about five hours worth of labor when I just communicated with the mechanic and I knew it was only about two hours max of labor for the project with the piece being only $120. It was more feasible to the price that she gave me the day before so I brought this to her attention and she said well that’s just the price is gonna be

After being a loyal customer of this shop for many years and referring all our clients from our family tire shop for years, Marquette Frame put my very life in absolute danger and didn’t seem to care the least bit. After buying new tires for my daughters jeep and taking it there for a routine alignment, I was driving two hours to my daughters college to take her jeep. As I drove on the highway the steering wheel slowly but surely rotated left while the jeep was still driving straight. So much so that when I got off the highway and attempted to make a left turn the wheel was already topped off and I could not make the turn. I called them to be told that they couldn’t do anything and I was stranded an hour and a half from home. I managed to get the car home on Christmas Eve of all days. I went to the shop to try to resolve the issue in person because I personally have been going there for years and figured they would offer me a solution. Their only response was it probably wasn’t their fault and that I need to bring the car in at my own expense so they can let me know. I had already incurred a huge expense to get my car home on Christmas Eve. I have a receipt from my new shop showing
